Beauty Ritual for Attracting Success by Michael Herkes

Our skin is the largest organ of our body and needs to be treated kindly, cleansed, enriched, and nourished like anything else. The cold months of winter can be hard on our skin—drying it out and often leaving it feeling scaly, rough, and cracked. None of which are glamorous! As witches, we use a variety of natural earth-based substances in our magic and rituals to further propel our intent into fruition. With that in mind, here is one of my favorite “Sunday Funday” glamours to help cultivate confidence and usher in abundance. With the New Year upon us, this is the perfect spell to attract success in 2019, all the while nourishing your winter worn skin!

Materials

• 3 drops of marula oil
• 1 drop of orange essential oil
• gemstone facial roller
• Sunday sunrays
• optional: magic mimosa of pink champagne, grapefruit juice, and honey drizzle

The first ingredients you will need are marula oil and sweet orange essential oil. Both of these oils are packed with powerful nutrients such as vitamin c and fatty acids that promote cellular regeneration and deep hydration within the skin. Despite being an oil, marula combats dry and oily skin and does not clog pores, making it a highly sought after. As a person who has oil skin, I can attest to the wonders this oil does at hydrating without causing breakouts! Metaphysically, both oils promote healing and attraction, while orange is also a powerful ingredient for success and wish manifestation!

Secondly, you will need a gemstone facial roller. These became hip and trendy beauty accessory of 2018 but have been used long before the days of Instagram. By design, these tools help in providing circulation and stimulation of the collagen in one’s face. It also assists in tightening fine lines and pores. The magical application extends through the type of stone the roller is made from. Each crystal contains its own energetic vibration that helps assist in magical work. Amethyst, jade, obsidian, and rose quartz are popular gems used for rollers and all incorporate their own unique element to beauty and attraction:

• Amethyst – a spiritual stone that helps balance and harmonize high and low energetic vibrations.
• Jade – applies balance, tranquility and peace.
• Obsidian – absorbs negativity and can be a powerful detox for skin. Whether tired, fatigued, drained, or stressed obsidian will help to counteract negative vibrations that cling to our face!
• Rose Quartz – my go to choice, this loving stone promotes beauty, grace, and harmony while enhancing unconditional love. It is perfect for instilling an aura of attraction with glowing healthy skin!

You will perform this spell on a sunny Sunday morning, during a waxing moon phase. Though Friday is considered the day of beauty, luxury, and harmony, Sundays are a great day to establish success, attraction, and wish attainment. Upon waking, take a magical bath with your favorite bubbles, bombs, or oils to help cleanse your physical and energetic body. Dry off and take your gemstone roller to a place that has exposed morning rays. Holding your roller, charge it in the morning rays of sunlight and revitalizing solar energy. Now, declare your wish, and say something along the lines of:

Sunday morning rays of light, let my glamour shine bright!

Now place your roller in the freeze for approximately 10-15 minutes. Doing this will cool the stone to intensify the blood flow and circulation when rolled on your skin. While your roller cools, mix three drops of marula oil with one drop of orange oil. As you do this, focus on the glamour and beauty that each of the oils promote and how they will not only nourish your skin and complexion physically, but provide an energetic level of beauty and grace as well.

Once fully mixed, remove your roller from the freezer and return to your mirror. Now add a drop of your preferred facial oil to each temple, your nose, and cheeks. Taking your roller, slide it back and forth over your skin, massaging the oil into your pores. As you do this, enchant your actions with the power of word and state:

Now is the time, confidence is mine,
As my glamour glows, radiates, and shines!
May I attract all good things to me,
Just like the flower charms the bee!

If applying makeup, give your face approximately 10-15 minutes to fully absorb the oil before doing so. For an extra splash of sexy success, pour yourself a magic mimosa of pink champagne and grapefruit juice with a drizzle of honey for a bit of edible alchemy to stimulate your sparkle, shine, and grace! Toast yourself in your magic mirror and welcome the day ahead. Repeat this spell as often as you would like. Cheers to a glamorous new year! – Michael xo
