March 3, 2021On March 3rd, Mars our planet of action, moves his way out of slow paced Taurus and into sharp-as-a-tack Gemini. This will be quite the change of pace for us, as these two signs could not be more opposite. Mars is not only about how we take action, but our raw, carnal instincts. I jokingly call Mars “our fuck” as opposed to our Venus which is “our love”, but this planet is all about our masculine energy. It is our do, our go and our give.
Mars in Taurus was all about taking your time to make a decision, even erring on the side of hesitation or caution. It had sensual undertones and embodied much more of the feminine, receiving energy. Mars in Gemini is going to be keeping us busy and having us getting shit done! Picture little Energizer Bunnies running around making to do lists and being task rabbits LOL The irony of this is the need to be constantly kept busy and exhausted when there is nothing to do!
Whenever Gemini is involved communication and consciousness are at the forefront. SPEAK YOUR AUTHENTIC TRUTH will be a major theme. It is not a time to be repressing our voices, yet we must use discernment and choose our words wisely, as with Gemini words can be weapons and cut deep. Gemini rules the hands, so it will be a great time to be expressing yourself on paper as the pen is mightier than the sword 😉 Journaling is always encouraged. It will also be a great time to take up a debate, the sharp wit and intelligence of Gemini will have you proving your point left and right!
Some of the challenges this transit can present include being unfocused, scattered energy, restlessness and symptoms of physical anxiety. We will be prone to taking on many tasks at once, it is important we focus our energy on completing what we started as Gemini gets bored and is on to the next very quickly! You may have feelings of being on edge which cause you to be overly critical. Anxiety can manifest through physical symptoms when we allow our nervous energy and restlessness to get the best of us. And while Mars in Gemini thrives on change, try to avoid spreading yourself too thin. The burnout can be very real.
