June 14, 2021It’s time to channel your best Sasha Fierce walk because Mars is in Leo and ain’t nobody playin’ round here, FireandLux fam! On June 11th, our action oriented, Divine Masculine planet of Mars stationed itself in bold, dramatic Leo. Mars in Cancer has us drowning in our emotions while Mars in Leo will have us in fiery pursuit! We are kinda here for this one!
As you guys probably know by now, Mars is our planet of our basic and most carnal instincts. Mars was the Roman God of War. All that heated masculinity and aggression can certainly make one a little impulsive. It’s only natural! But when we look at Mars, it’s telling us, how do we proceed with taking action?
Leo is the 5th sign of the zodiac, a Fixed Fire sign. Leo is ruled by the Sun, so this sign in Mars is bound to get us HOT! Leo is bold, dramatic, outstanding, confident, romantic, proud and warm. You can always spot the Leo in the room because they naturally have a shine to them. They embody a certain je nois se quois, a somethin’ somethin’, that makes everyone attracted toward them. They have no problem expressing themselves and are usually kids at heart; playful and energetic. Leo’s Achilles heel is their ego. As I mentioned, Leo is ruled by the Sun and the Sun, we are told, is the center of the Universe, therefore Leo’s tend to not be able to see beyond themselves.
After having Mars in Cancer which was much heavyyyy on the emotions, this transit will have us feeling dynamic, sexy and feelin’ ourselves! Our passionate side is ready to roar, especially once Venus hits Leo at the end of June. . .hmmm I’m predicting a baby boom around March/April 2021 😉 JK fam! There is no doubt, sparks are going to fly. If you are in a relationship, it’s time to bring on the passion, reignite that fire! If you’re feeling stuck, this placement has the ability to push you out of a place of stagnancy. If you’re single, it’s time to be brave and put yourself out there!
Allowing yourself to be fearless during this time will be key.
Embody confidence, radiate your inner light, and express yourself. It is not a time to be shy!
Now, we always do have those shadows. It is important during this transit we don’t let our pride and ego get the best of us, especially by way of being stubborn or arrogant. While this time will be quite heated, it is important we don’t let our emotions fly off the handle. This placement can be rather explosive! Remember to always find ways to stay grounded, or at least go with the ebbs and flows of life so you don’t feel overpowered. While it’s a great thing to embody your confidence, don’t forget to have a nice slice of humble pie.
