August 31, 2021Mercury has moved along again, FireandLux fam, and this time it has positioned itself in harmonious and balance seeking Libra.
This extended stay will begin on August 30th, 2021, and station there all the way until November 5th, 2021, to accommodate none other than: MERCURY RETROGRADE!
I know! We all barely made it out alive last time, but have faith, and hold tight because we will have a separate blog for you all about that!
Libra, as I always say, is easily the most likeable sign of the Zodiac. And I say this because of their charming demeanor and inherent need to be liked and therefore making them kind people pleasers!
Libra is the seventh sign of the Zodiac, a Cardinal Air sign. This means they innate action based on communication.
Libra is ruled by Venus and together the two rule the 7th house: the “House of Relationships”.
Libra thrives in peace, harmony and balance and is known for their fairness and justice. They are open minded and will hear all sides of the story therefore making them great friends for discerned advice. They are a very social and charming sign. Since they are ruled by Venus, beauty, aesthetics and symmetry all come into play.
Libra don’t like ugly!!! You’ll often see the chicest and most put together person in the room is a Libra. They often have an eccentric creative streak. Think Amber Rose, Snoop Dogg, Kim K., Gwen Stefani, A$AP Rocky and Lil’ Wayne, that I personally admire.
Libra’s root lesson is to teach you how to be in a relationship without being codependent.
We all know that Mercury is the planet of communication and details by now. Mercury in Libra wants to activate our throat chakra so we eloquently speak our truth with grace and compassion.
Let your thoughts and words be a thing of beauty and allow them to flow. You can expect communication to be more fair, less arguing and more discerning. More than ever, things will be open to reasonable compromises and seeing all sides of the story. Remember, Libra is a Divine Feminine sign, so more feeling, more allowing and more flowing can be expected. Libra has a way of making it nice!
While Libra is cool and kind, they too have their shadows.
Low self-esteem and lack of confidence can surface from all that people pleasing. Being overly nice can lead to being a doormat. Because this is a sign to teach us about being in relationships, they have a tendency to easily be codependent with an underlying fear of being alone. And the shadows of Mercury in Libra are the same. You might find yourself people pleasing to avoid conflict at all costs or sugar-coating your messages. It will also be easy to find yourself in a pickle if you are constantly just telling people what they want to hear as to deflect any drama or negativity you don’t want to take on or flip flopping on your word. As well, you can find yourself being a bit on the materialistic side.
