Venus X Sagittarius 2021 By: Erin The Urban Mermaid
October 6, 2021Venus is on the move again, FireandLux fam! The planet of love has (thankfully) moved out of deep, intense and obsessive Scorpio and has stationed into fun, free and spirited Sagittarius! WHEW!
This transit will start on October 7th, 2021, and stick around in Sag for about a month, when on November 6th, 2021, she will move into Capricorn.
Let’s see what this transit has in store for us all. . .
Most of you have been here long enough to know what Lady Venus represents. She is the ruler of love, romance, beauty, relationships, harmony, value, possessions and let’s not forget, self-worth, self-love and self-value.
Venus is the natural ruler of both Taurus and Libra and their respected houses. She is the Divine Feminine of the planets and embodies the Empress energy like the tarot card she also influences.
Sagittarius is the 9th sign of the Zodiac, a mutable fire sign, meaning they are more open to change and birth the ideas or projects based on their passion and inspiration.
Sag is ruled by Jupiter, the big lucky planet, and together the two rule the 9th house, the “House of Higher Knowledge”.
Why do we love Sag?
Sagittarius is passionate, has a zest for learning and living life through experience, the philosophers and teachers who love to share what they have learned in their travels, ever so optimistic, but also not one to give up at anything! Sag can see the bigger picture of things.
I always relate Sagittarius to the crown chakra, forever growing and expanding and connecting to that higher, wiser wisdom from the spirit world. Some shadows of bohemian Sag are restlessness, carelessness, overly blunt, forgetting the details of things, preachy, dogmatic and blindly optimistic.
Venus in Sagittarius is a fun and adventurous placement.
Venus in Sag must always be given their freedom. In fact, the more freedom you give them, the less likely they will roam. They get a bad rep for being non-committal but as someone who is a Venus in Sag. I’d like to share my take on this.
My gift, that I definitely did not understand as a gift in my younger years, was the ability to know if I would connect with someone romantically and energetically just by being in their presence. So on the plus side, I didn’t waste a lot of time on endless dating or boring small talk (lordt spare meeee lol). On the down side, because I knew if it was worth my time or not, I probably came off as very standoffish to the no-gos LOL.
It just came down to being able to tell if a potential lover was sketchy and not wanting to waste my time. And that is the Venus in Sag’s secret super power. Venus in Sag is a good vibe. They show a lot of warmth to friends as friendships mean a lot to them. They want to have fun, enjoy love to its fullest. They tend to inspire others, as most fire signs do. When they do find their mate, they will be loyal and admire them to the very end.
On the shadow side, they tend to not be the most emotional of Venus’s and known to be the “one who got away” to many.
So now is the time to be having a bit of adventurous fun in the romance department. Perhaps trying something you never tried before, be spontaneous! Take a lighthearted approach to love. It doesn’t always have to be sooooo deep and serious. Let go a little – You might even find yourself taking some risks!
This is also a great time to travel and experience a new place with a lover. Sag loves to explore! If you’re single, it’s a great time to get out there and not have any expectations, go with the Divine Flow and you might be pleasantly surprised where it takes you.
Don’t forget Sag is a lucky sign, so good luck in love and wealth can come from this transit. Just don’t get too Sag and overdo it all! Sag can be soooo extra! Blame it on Jupiter 😉
