On October 30^th, 2021, the action oriented Divine Masculine planet of Mars left the Divine Feminine planet of Libra and positioned itself in the fieriest of water signs, Scorpio, where it will stay until December 13^th, 2021.

It is time for us to face our challenges head on and dive deep with ourselves.

This placement might have us feeling hot and bothered but now is the time to use that energy to make shifts happen.

Just to give you guys a brief recap on Mars – He rules over Aries and together they rule the first house, the “House of Self.”

Mars takes his name from mythology and the God of War. Little known fact? Mars is the original ruler of Scorpio before Pluto took his place. Mars is our Divine Masculine energy. He is our basic carnal and primal instincts.

Our lesson with Mars is learning to release the shadows of the Divine Masculine: control, ego, competition, rage, aggression, power hungry and hiding our emotions and lean into using vulnerability as our strength, acknowledging and owning our feelings and calling back our Divine power.

Scorpio might be the most notoriously complex of the signs in the Zodiac.

A fixed water sign, Scorpio is a builder, here to grow and expand based on emotions. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, but as I Mentioned previously, the original ruler is Mars making this a very potent placement.

Together Scorpio and Pluto rule the 8th house, the “House of Transformations.”

Scorpio is the Phoenix, ever unfolding, growing, transforming and emerging. It is a sign of depth, intensity, obsession, reflection, possession, sexuality, loyalty, and the hidden. Nothing is shallow or superficial when it comes to Scorpio.

I will forewarn you, this transit will come with its challenges, especially that we will also have the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio for 3 more weeks or so.

But that is actually the point of Mars X Scorpio, to challenge us. We are meant to look deep within ourselves and ask what do we need to face within ourselves in order for us to grow and to ascend on our soul journey?

Getting real and raw with yourself requires pure honesty and bravery. So does finding the cojones to actually face these challenges head on and change. It is time to dig up our shadows and those things we just don’t want to deal with ever. It is painful and it is not fun, but it is necessary. You can expect your energy levels to be quite high so you are able to complete these complex personal tasks at hand.

It is a great time to take action and start something new: New business ventures or shifting in your business is what I am feeling strongest as I feel this placement exudes entrepreneurship.

As for our relationships, things could get really intense! Scorpio is a sexually charged sign, they are sensual but most importantly, intimate and we merge that with Mars’s natural urges, fireworks are sure to happen!

And as with any Scorpio transit, I encourage you to purse your occult, metaphysical and spiritual practices. Awaken your inner witch!

The most important thing to remember is not to get lost or caught up in extremes. Scorpio is intense and tends to not have a middle ground. It is important to remember that the pendulum will always swing back and forth, so the highs are high and those lows are so very low.

Obsession is also a Scorpio shadow. Try to have some balance (don’t forget about the Libra energy from last transit!). Don’t let things consume you and retract that stinger!

Scorpio anything is rough, but remember we come out better and stronger on the other side if we learn the lessons.
