It’s Mars in Aries and it’s time to strap on your warrior mode gear!

That’s right FireandLux Fam, the little red planet with so much fire power has left romantic and creative Pisces and is back in its home of Aries as of May 23, 2022, where it will stay until July 5, 2022. Hell of a time fam, hell of a time.

Mars in Aries is one potent, hot, ferocious placement.

Mars is the natural ruler of Aries and when he sits at home, heavy on the action oriented, powerful, warrior vibes. Mars is named after the God of War and is the Divine Masculine, the Emperor.

Mars and Aries together rule the first house, the “House of Identity”.

Mars is responsible for our most carnal of instincts, how we pursue things, ambition, power, our drive including sex drive, energy and our passion. But he is also responsible for fight mode, warrior like codes of conduct, defensiveness and will power.

We begin again in the cycle of the zodiac with Aries, the very first sign.

As I said previously, Aries is ruled by Mars and the two together rule the first house.

Aries is a cardinal fire sign.

They are the initiators of action and that fire within them is fueled by passion and inspiration.
Aries are natural born leaders, noble and always prepared to fight the good fight.
They are highly intelligent, outspoken and feisty.
Deep down, they are quite sensitive so they come off very child-like with their emotions.
And although they might have a hot temper, they don’t hold a grudge and forgive quickly.
At their best they are fun, funny, good company, smart and quick.
When misaligned they are irrational, control freaks and brazen.

The last time Mars was in Aries was a retrograde from September 9, 2020 to November 13, 2020.

If we look back over the last two years, the energy, what has transpired, what has surfaced and we take our personal magnifying glass to that period – what started then that you need to fight for now?

Mars has come full cycle and so have you and the fact that we are in a Mercury and Pluto retrograde, things will resurface that you need to go back and address and tie up.

It’s a time to be strong and brave and face them head on.

I am here to tell you the road will not be easy but you can invoke that Aries warrior within to give you the energy you need to fight these battles.

Ask yourself what lessons do you need to learn from this cycle?

And while I encourage surrendering to the Universe, this time, your part will include fighting for what it is you are defending or want or desire.

The good news is we will have a lot of energy! Especially because most of this transit falls while the Sun is in energetic Gemini.

You will feel courageous, brave, independent and it is your chance to rise up as a leader.
DETERMINATION is a huge word coming through here.
It’s not that you don’t acknowledge the challenges ahead. It’s that you aren’t scared to go head to head with them this time.

Like any other planetary transit, shadows will arise.

Beware of being completely headstrong and irrational. Impulsive decisions can lead to regret.
