Libra Season 2023: Erin The Urban Mermaid

With the Autumnal Equinox, otherwise known as Mabon, the seasons shift and so does the Sun, as it leaves the sign of Virgo and enters the sign of Libra.

The Sun will post up in Libra from September 23, 2023 until October 22, 2023.

Let’s see what we can expect with this shift…

I always say, Libra is easily the most likable sign of the zodiac, and while that is a wonderful thing, it stems from their shadows of fearing people not liking them and being people pleasers.

Libra, a Cardinal Air sign, is the 7th sign of the Zodiac, ruled by Lady Venus herself.

Together, Libra and Venus rule the 7th House, also known as the “House of Partnerships”. This for the most part pertains to marriage or romantic relationships, but it can include business partnerships as well.

Libra is one symmetrical, well put together, good looking sign.
They don’t do ugly!
Libra thrives in balance, when things are fair and all is harmonious in their inner and outer world.
They also do better when in partnership with a significant other, but one of their life lessons is to learn to balance independence and not be as codependent.
Libra is very nice, straight up. They are nice, fun, charming, social and for the most part easy to be around.
They are a friend to offer sound and discerned advice because they are good at seeing all sides of things from an objective point of view.
It’s important Libra learn to stay grounded as an air sign because their indecisiveness can have them float away with their thoughts.
Besides a tendency to be codependent, a people pleaser and indecisive, Libra is also known to seek validation outside themselves, fear confrontation, and lie or be manipulative to tip the scales in their favor – a bit of followers or car salesman.

It’s only natural Libra season follows Virgo because we get the chance to integrate things from Virgo like organization, being detail-oriented and order or cleanliness with beauty, harmony and symmetry.

I like to think of our sacred spaces…In Virgo season we get to purge, clean and organize and in Libra season we get to make it pretty, accessorize, and honor the aesthetic side of things.

This metaphor can be applied to our inner world as well…

Now is a great time to feel beautiful.
Get your hair done! Upgrade your wardrobe!
Get a mani!

Besides the outer self-care and beautification, doing this for our inner world as well…

Walks

playing with your pretty crystals 😉
all are wonderful

It’s also a time to embrace partnership…

Besides the fun part of that like date night and intimacy, how can you and your partner work together as a unit to face challenges?

Libra season is also a great time to play hostess and be social.

Have a fun gathering!
Or go out and be with friends enjoying the beauty of life.

If Libra has one message for us, it is we create the beauty in our lives.

In spending all this time with our partners or socializing, it’s important we remember to be alone with ourselves too.

Do not fear being alone with your thoughts and emotions or feel only someone else can tell you what this is.
The answer is within you and you alone.
Be wary of seeking external validation and believing what other people think about is an absolute truth.
Trust yourself to make decisions for your Highest and Best
Trust that whatever you choose, you will be where you’re meant to be

Libra season can leave us indecisive from trying to weigh out our options…just let it flow!
