Jupiter X Pisces 2021 By: Erin The Urban Mermaid
May 12, 2021As we keep emphasizing to you, FireandLux fam, May is a rather eventful month in cosmos and as above, so below. Jupiter, the BIG planet of BIG things, is taking a little break from Aquarius, where it has been since The Grand Conjunction in December, and hanging out over in Pisces from May 13th until July 28th, before it heads back to Aquarius for almost the rest of 2021. To shake things up it will be retrograde from June 20th through October 17th.
While Jupiter in Aquarius is a very ideal position, having him in Pisces will be a blessing in disguise.
Jupiter rules over Sagittarius and together the two rule the ninth house, the “House of Growth and Higher Knowledge”.
Jupiter is the planet of wisdom, how we learn, how we connect to the Divine and the spiritual knowledge that is offered to us, seeing the bigger picture, travel, abundance, learning through experience, a visionary, teaching, optimism, culture and how we grow- Jupiter is the spiritual guru and the lucky planet.
Because Jupiter is the largest of planets, whenever he shifts, we really feel the effects trickling down. Little known fact? Jupiter actually co-rules Pisces before Neptune was discovered and is considered Pisces’ ancient ruler.
Pisces is the last (12th) sign of the zodiac. It is a mutable water sign. Being the 12th and last sign acknowledges a certain aspect of completion. Pisces has a dreamy, flowy and romantic energy. Jupiter here wants us to connect with the spiritual side of our journeys. Pisces is also the creative, usually having wonderful talents! They are ruled by their emotions and known for being able to read others quite well and fully understand others’ emotions.
This Jupiter in Pisces position is a highly spiritually charged transit. Pisces is the natural psychic, intuitive and empath. This is a time for us to be connecting with this energy in a big way. Let’s ask ourselves! How can we grow through our spirituality? How can we grow our psychic gifts? Jupiter in Pisces wants to expand the vision of our third eye.
Pisces is also known for its creativity. In fact, creativity is their greatest channel when the emotions get too much to handle. How can we use this creativity to grow and expand? Perhaps we will be pleasantly surprised when we infuse modern mysticism into any projects we may have going. Because of our greater connection with our intuition we can have a greater understanding of Universal Oneness.
We can use this time to fill our souls with kindness and compassion and allow that to radiate into the world.
It’s hard to believe, but yes, even this transit has its shadows. Pisces isn’t exactly known for being the most grounded of signs. So while we want you to think BIG, it is important to not get carried away and keep your feet on the ground. As well, Jupiter does things in excess and Pisces loves to escape reality: let’s avoid things like coping and overdoing it with spending, alcohol, drugs or other numbing substances.
Stay focused on your goals and manifestations. Don’t let yourself get too distracted and float off!
