August 20, 2021On August 19, 2021, Uranus, one of the more eclectic planets, goes retrograde in the sign of Taurus where it will stay until January 18, 2022. Breakdowns, breakups and breakthroughs are all in the cards for this transit, making it low key powerful and magickal.
What can we expect?
Rebel, Rebel! Is what I always say about Uranus and the Zodiac sign it rules, Aquarius. Together the two rule the 11th house, traditionally called the “House of Friendships” but it is so much more in depth than that.
Uranus embodies how we connect and network with others, thinking outside of the box, necessary upheavals and awakenings and our path to freedom. Uranus challenges us to challenge ourselves and the world and break free of old constructs. Uranus wants to see change!
This retrograde is occurring in the sign of Taurus. Taurus is a fixed Earth sign, the second sign of the Zodiac, ruled by Venus. Taurus rules over money, finances, tangible materials, security, possessions, our home, but let’s not forget, our self-worth and self-value.
What can we expect with this transit?
Uranus stays in signs for about 7 years or so, so this energy is actually not new to us. We’ve experienced it a few times before. It is very key that we stay flexible and open to change during these next few months. The more rigid we are, we conflict with Uranus’s need for growth, freedom and change.
Allow and do not force! Force energy will make the necessary upheavals or Tower moments so much harder to deal with than if we come from a space of being open to what in us had to die and what lesson we were meant to learn.
There’s a lot of innovative energy flying around, so our ideas will be quick but meaningful. Many of us might find ourselves opening up to truly seeing the harsh realities around us as shocking changes this transit brings are meant to shake foundations and outdated systems. Let the rebellious and trailblazing feels inspire us to make big changes for our highest and best.
Since this retrograde is in Taurus, we are being asked to address our core wound surrounding finances and be inspired to find new, innovative ways for financial organization.
Take note of your material possessions, might be time for a major clean out. What do you truly value and what is just taking up space. This alone can shift your energy. As well, now is the time to get in touch with our self-worth and self-value. When we have mastered that, we have self-love, the highest of frequencies.
