Virgo Season 2021 By: Erin The Urban Mermaid

August 23, 2021 Off By Fire and Lux

The sun is shifting its place again, FireandLux Fam leaving bold and dramatic Leo and making its way over to analytical and logical Virgo.

This transit will begin around August 22nd/23rd and stay there until September 22nd. This shift is all about releasing!

Let’s see what is going down.

It’s no secret, the last few months have been energetically heavy and overwhelming at times. What a year! But this transition into Virgo season is asking us to do some major self-reflection and analysis and look at what can go!

What little shadows of the ego, dark entities, blocks, unhealthy cycles and patterns are you finally ready to let go of??

Virgo is the 6th sign of the zodiac, ruled by Mercury. Virgo and Mercury together rule the 6th house, commonly known as the “House of Health”, although it pertains to much more. Our daily habits and schedules, routines, how we figure things out and analyze them, grounding down information and listening to our bodies are all included here.

Virgo is a mutable Earth sign, meaning they are more open minded, flexible and adaptable when it comes to material and tangible things. They birth the ideas, they bring to fruition. Virgo is commonly depicted by the Virgin, as one of the biggest keys for thriving as a Virgo is keeping your vessel and your sacred spaces as pure as possible. This means no junk, processed foods, white sugars, overdoing it on caffeine, alcohol and other substances and keeping your environment simple, uncluttered, and organized.

The shadows of Virgo are, and I always joke and call them this nitpicker, being way too hard on themselves and others, perfectionism, way too critical and being often let down.

If we look at the Hermit card in the Tarot, which is associated with Virgo, the message is to go inward.

Take a long, hard look and yourself, it is self-reflection time. I personally interpret the light he carries on the card as a physical manifestation of the light within guiding his path.

We are being called during this Virgo season to look at ourselves through unbiased eyes and discern what we are carrying in our souls and energy fields. We need to trust that what we release truly needs to go and it will make the energetic space for something more aligned to come into.

As I mentioned above, breaking old cycles and patterns are a part of your karmic debt and when you conquer these successfully, you get to the next point on your ascension journey.

It’s do or die time FireandLux Fam. Call on that inner strength. Coming with this is leaning into the need to find focus and clarity.

I am encouraging everyone to take an honest look at their health and wellness routines. Are you eating junk? Do you get enough water? Enough rest? You have the power to change this. As well, it is a great time to declutter! Any chaos in your space is affecting you energetically. LET IT GO!

Now the trick to doing all this during Virgo season is to be able to do this without being too hard on yourself. Virgo is hyper critical and you cannot believe everything you tell yourself! It is important to remember that perfect does not exist! Also try to avoid beating up yourself and others too. No one likes unsolicited advice. Virgo can also overanalyze things into a hole and that can be very unhealthy. Discernment and your intuition will be your BFF during this season!

You’ve got this FireandLux Fam, bring on Virgo season!
