The real new year has occurred with a huge, symbolic rebirth.
On March 20, 2023 (32023), the Spring Equinox commonly known as Ostara, the Sun closed the chapter on this last year and rose on a new one with Aries season and the next day the New Moon in Aries along with Mercury, Jupiter and Chiron making that 5 planets in Aries.
Rebirth, new beginnings, fresh starts and thriving energy is the theme and we are so here for it!
Aries is the MoFo JUMP OFF!
The first sign of the zodiac, the beginning of a new cycle. Ruled by our Divine Masculine planet Mars, Aries is a Cardinal Fire sign. It is the first of the first to get it crackin’.
Together, Aries and Mars rule the first house, this is the “House of Self’ which encompasses our personality, individuality, the I/me, and who we are trying to become.
Aries energy, which it is very high energy, is about bold leadership. It is about listening to your inner drive and taking action, following the passion in your soul and allowing yourself to be inspired. I often refer to Aries as the infant of the zodiac because they are still learning to find their footing, they can be quick, impulsive and irrational but they never hold a grudge very long. They are very sensitive; they just bury that deep down and act out when triggered. They can be know-it-alls and self-centered, but in a childlike manner, very innocent with no awareness that they are boss hoggin’ everyone.
But Aries has a good and pure heart. They will be the first ones to fight the good fight with you, they don’t take ish from no one and they are independent as they come. We can all use an Aries in our corner.
What does this season of a grand rebirth look like for us?
Well, it’s all new all over again. This isn’t really just a new chapter, it’s a whole new book!
- New opportunities will keep arising for you and you’ll finally feel confident enough to jump on them.
- Our energy will be restored after getting a little trudged through the emotional seas of Pisces and we will feel invigorated.
- Our sense of inspiration will also be reignited, like a fire in our hearts – and under our bootys!
All of this energy, leadership, confidence, inspiration is a recipe for success. Many of us used this last quarter to work on and cultivate things behind the scenes, and in Aries season we will start to see the fruits of our labor sprout.
I also feel lots of joy for many of us this Aries season, less taking life so seriously more just allowing ourselves to have a good time and enjoy life. We are worthy of this! We deserve this!
As amazing as all of this is, we do always have to watch out for the shadow side.
- Rushing into things without thinking them through, overdoing it energy-wise and burning out, being too quick for our own good and intense irritability can all arise.
- The biggest takeaway I can suggest is remembering to slow down and ground when you need to.
- Self-awareness is your ally when you feel yourself being a little too in your ego (no one likes a me-me-me!).
- Every once in a while, give yourself a little reality check and you should be just fine!
