Scorpio Season 2023: Erin The Urban Mermaid

October 23, 2023 Off By Fire and Lux

The Sun shifts Zodiac signs once again and we find ourselves in Scorpio Szn, a drowny yet fiery place of depth and intensity.

The energy is thick to say the least. It’s key we remember the gifts or tools from the previous szn of Libra meant to help us through: balance, harmony, fairness, beauty and partnerships.

The Sun will be here from late in the day on October 22, 2023 to November 21, 2023.

Let’s all together now take a deep grounding breath. . .

Scorpio is the 8th sign of the Zodiac ruled by Pluto. Together Scorpio and Pluto rule the 8th house, also known as the “House of Mystery” but also includes the

  • occult
  • death and rebirth
  • transformations
  • sex
  • witchy things
  • taxes (eek)
  • and acquired wealth

Scorpio is a fixed water sign although many mistake it for a fire sign.

Scorpio is all about depth, leave the superficial surface level ish somewhere else.

Things often reveal themselves from the shadows during Scorpio szn, which is actually all the word “occult” means- what is hidden.

It’s a time to go inward especially, what are we hiding from ourselves, consciously and subconsciously? Hence, the term shadow work and what a great season to get into that!

The eternal cycle of death and rebirth are a main theme as well. Not literally, but the millions of metaphorical deaths and rebirths we experience on our journey and who it is we emerge as.

Scorpio is NOT for the weak-

  • they do not trust easily
  • will test you
  • will have you experiencing a roller coaster of deep emotions
  • hide things from you
  • be double standard
  • vicious and cut throat when needed
  • broody
  • controlling
  • possessive
  • obsessive
  • and, of course, a human lie detector

But it’s their intensity, their dramatic flair, their loyalty once they do trust, their sex appeal that keep us coming back for more.

  • Just don’t piss them off or you will feel their wrath.

So how does the Phoenix rise when things are soooo heavy and chaotic?

First and foremost,

  • SURRENDER!

Scorpio’s lesson is for us to release.

  • Learning to release control and trust ourselves, our path and the Divine no matter how much we feel tested or challenged is a huge lesson.

You have to learn to trust that anything you are letting go of is going to make space for something even more aligned to come into your life.

  • Love, love, love Scorpio season to visit shadow work.
  • Pick at yourself a bit (lol), but that descent inward to get to know yourself better is an absolute non-negotiable on your spiritual and healing journeys.

It’s a great season to connect with the metaphysical or spiritual too – grab some tarot cards, do some rituals or at least learn about it.

Scorpio season, as intense as it is, serves as a reminder that the pendulum swing always comes back around. We can’t have those incredible high-highs without experiencing and understanding rock bottom too.

Scorpio is a bit of a lone wolf, take time to yourself and use it to take the deep dive- within or with something that interests you. Your inner introvert will thank you.

The shadows of Scorpio might be some of the most challenging as Scorpio is probably the most complex sign of the Zodiac.

  • Obsession and Possession are just not cute lol you cannot own someone- keep that in mind.
  • Being dramatic or illusive can be a turn on to a point, but nobody likes a drama queen or someone they just can’t nail down because they can’t keep up with whatever mood they choose to be that day.
  • Control, as I mentioned earlier, is a tough nut to crack. You must take on not only a heightened level of self-awareness but also take action about it. Those two go hand in hand if you are truly seeking change.
  • Sassy can be fun but that too taken too far is borderline bratty and we are all grown and sexy here! In fact, embrace the sexy and sultry side of this season!!!!

Don’t let fear consume you FireandLux Fam!

You are the Phoenix!
