April 26, 2024And so we continue ahead through the journey of the zodiac as the sun moves to the second sign of Taurus on late April 19th until midday Mary 20th.
Taurus is a nice soft landing after the wild ride this past Aries season took us on.
Let’s jump right in. . .
Taurus is a fixed Earth sign and the second sign of the zodiac. She is ruled by Lady Venus, making her one of the Divine Feminines, and the two rule the second house, the “House of Values” together.
- So much to unpack in the second house! It’s more than just money, pretty things, flowers and lobster tails (although TBH that’s a pretty sweet part of it).
- It’s our possessions, our values and who/what we value – mostly ourselves, which of course is a part of our self-worth, which of course, the greater picture there is SELF-LOVE.
Taurus are known to be the immovable mountain. They take a long time to think things out and draw conclusions, so they don’t like to change (in general) once they are set.
They also hate doing things twice or going back and doing things again, hence they take their sweet ass time… haha.
They live life as a sense-based experience, enjoying the colors of nature, the smells of delicious food baking, the feelings of the sun on their bodies, the taste of fine wine. . . they appreciate these things in life.
And while they can be some of the most grounded and down to earth people you ever meet, they love to indulge. Self-care is necessary for them. As is a creative outlet.
- At their worst, they become stuck, they seek comfort by literally not getting out of bed and eating their emotions.
- At their best, they are well rounded people!
All the ideas you bloomed and birthed in Aries season are ready to grow up! They need to be watered, nurtured and tended to and Taurus loves to do just that.
Taurus is big Empress energy. It’s a beautiful time to realize the sun is out flowers are blooming and life is beautiful and meant to be enjoyed.

- Need a facial and massage? this is encouraged!
Taurus season is about investing yourself to be the best version of you possible bc you care about yourself at the deepest most cellular and spiritual level!
It is a season of abundance in so many ways!

- take it all,
- have a sensory experience and allow it to heal your soul.
It’s also a time to make your home feel more homey, be cozy and enjoy your precious time. Little upgrades here and there really pay off in hindsight and make you feel good. Indulge a bit, you deserve it.
But the path to self-love is never that simple. Impulse buying, over indulging in foods or alcohol, sleeping 15 hours a day, all of these mask what you truly need to work on.
THINGS DO NOT EQUAL LOVE.
Financial organization is encouraged bc that second house is like be self-responsible and own your shit or I’m gonna keep ya broke in more ways than one!
Taurus can also have us prone to being stubborn and getting in our own way.
- Do your best to be open, listen and remain flexible.
- If you find yourself breaking your own boundaries and questioning self-worth, it’s time to go back within.
Taurus gives the opportunity to grow in so many areas. Tend to these blossoms, so you can continue to grow yourself!
